C-30 would make it a one ton. Rare in that it is a pickup instead of a flatbed with the one ton hubs and dual rear wheels.

It looks solid and would be a good deal for a guy in that part of the country looking for a project even if he intended to convert it to a half ton shortie. As much as I like to modify trucks I think I'd put it back as close to original as I could since it doesn't look to have many things changed on it.
It would be a nifty tow rig with just a clean up. Strong enough to pull almost anything.
