I'd be all over that if it was closer, and I don't even need it

Is a grand really a good deal for a 2wd chassis?

Not bashing, just curious.

It says the rear is different from the swb truck. So I wonder if it is a coil or leaf spring?

I think he's talking about the rear of the frame being different.

Re: Albuquerque NM. C/L Find - 72 Blazer Frame

Wow, I paid just a "bit" more and got a whole 2wd Blazer, and from Alb no less!? I'd guess a roller (with a rear that was complete) might be worth it, but wow?! A 4X4 frame can be converted pretty easily and this frame isn't going to work to make a 4X4 body a 2wd anyways (a "real" 2wd anyways).

YES,

and if it had been last year I would have paid more.

I think it being a 72 makes it worth more. (JMHO)

(Now that I have one I am no longer in the market)

sounds sort of high to me, but who knows. if it is, i have a 4wheel drive '72 blazer frame, that comes with the 3spd and NP205 for much less that that. located in NC....252 213 6606...scott
i also have a huge 3spd mounted to a Rockwell T-221 gear drive transfer case (with PTO option) that is just taking up space in the floor....i have been so close to scrapping it, only holding on thinking someone might want a hard to find combo like this one...real,real cheap on this one....drop me a line....s..

It's the "2wd" part that makes it worth around the $1000. 4wd frames are fairly easy to come by, in fact, I think a few have been given away here on the board (not saying yours aren't worth something). A lot has to do with location. Ya might try listing on some of the more extreme 4wd sites like Pirate4x4.com and CK5.com.

Re: Albuquerque NM. C/L Find - 72 Blazer Frame

that maybe the case. i wasn't really trying to sell the frame, but if someone was willing to pay 3 or 400 for that with the 3spd and 205 i would definately let it go...i bought the old blazer for the running rear ends...put them under my '69....the rest is sort of in the way....scott
