New guy from Ohio
Hey all, been looking around this forum for awile now. Being that this is my first post I thought I would introduce myself and tell about some of my projects.
My names Nick, Im 23, and I live in Ohio. Iv always been a car/truck/hotrod/muslecar kinda guy. I work in a factory here in town that makes books. Been there 4 years and pertty much been 7days a week that whole time. Here lies the problem, because I dont have time to get anything done! The Projects. First is the newest, 1968SWB chevy truck, bought about 2 months ago. To date all Iv done is get the O/D working and check fluids. Truck is a factory 307/3speed w/od, power nothing, speed indicator, 3.73 or 4.10 rear. Body is rough but the truck looks like nothing has ever been messed with. Everything is there and works. All lights, gauges, buzzer, trans and motor run great. Plans are giving Porter a call and making a "shop truck" http://s120.photobucket.com/albums/o...t=IMG_0055.jpg Next is a car my father and I bought together 1931 ford A. not much there just a body and frame (bookville and TCI). Got a pile of parts with it to. We now have a motor and trans in it. http://s120.photobucket.com/albums/o...t=IMG_0411.jpg My fathers 1986 c10 and 1966 Impala ss '86 I found and told dad about it. Very solid truck. Had a 4.3 v6 and TH400 w/ 2.73 rear. Ditch the v6 for a 406 and chaged to 3.73. Got DJM 2/4 kit and some american racing 17''. Right now this truck is at paint. http://s120.photobucket.com/albums/o...t=100_0300.jpg The '66 Impala dad found because he had one new. All we have done is drop a smallblock out for a 454 and have been running it http://s120.photobucket.com/albums/o...t=100_0306.jpg Ive linked most because Im not real sure how to resize pics. If the picture I did post is to big I would gladly edit the thread. Thanks. |
