Can someone tell me what the wheelbase is on a longbed and on a shortbed 1972 C10

IIRC : SWB = 115" and LWB=127"

I have a 72 C10 and the only number that I see is 8S1009 where you are talking about, would that be correct or is that something else?

that's it. It should match the latter half of your cab's VIN.
