It must be a personal preference because I have a 2000 and also a 2004 Silverado with cloth seats and I always felt they where very comfortable. I have been on the look out for one for my 67. I have heard from junk yards that they don't hold up well so they disappear quickly as people get them to replace their worn out ones.
