Lift For A '77 2WD 3/4 Ton Sub? Help! - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am looking for a 2" or 4" lift for my 1977 2WD 3/4 Ton Suburban. I love to bomb around the forest service roads of Oregon. Most places I don't need 4-wheel, the locked 14-bolt rear does just fine, with the added benefit of better mileage. But I run all-terrain/mud&snow 12.5"x33" tires, and when the roads get bumpy it tends to rub. I've already applied tasteful use of the sawzall, but I'm having some trouble finding a lift/prerunner kit for the beast. Can anyone help me out?

I appreciate the lead but, I have already tried Fabtech, their kits are for 1/2 tons in the older models. I talked to one of their bigwigs, they said there is not enough market for 3/4 ton 2WD lifts in the older models. Unfortunately they will not make a custom or prototype for me either(not that I want to pay that much). Any other ideas?

Anybody else have any ideas? Anybody know how much it costs to have custom coil springs made, or if 4x4 rear springs fit a 2wd? I haven't taken measurements yet, just wondering if anyone tried it before.
