Got a great cab today!

Thanks for everyone who replied to my cab wanted ad. I got this great 98% rust free cab from Fine69 (Mike) today. It was well worth the 3 hour drive up, all the wrecks we saw from people who can't drive in a light snow shower, the two wrecks we were almost involved in due to people stopping on the over passes and 7 miles per gallon in my 2000 Crew cab 454!

It was also nice to see the rare 3 door that Mike got back.

72BlckButy- you really have to look hard to see it. Compared to the cab in my garage with the entire cab floor cut out I would call it 110% rust free.

Re: Got a great cab today!

they've been tallkin on the radio here about it. Heck, the state laid off a whole bunch of the drivers that spread the salt and brine. The saltmtn here in town is possibly bigger than I've ever seen it.
On the radio they've been talking about how the state didn't get nearly as much in fuel tax money since no one was driving due to the high fuel prices.

Re: Got a great cab today!

it was from inside the cab, on with my cell phone... so it kinda sucks... no... it REALLY sucks. Plus the immage is only about 2 inches by 2 inches even when put on the computer.
But here's a crappy cell phone pic of the nasty cancer stuff oll over my beater though...

Re: Got a great cab today!

Longhorn Man - I figured you had seen that cab. Mike and I talked about your upcoming trip. Sounds like a blast. I just enjoyed the day trip to get the cab from Mike.

Spray-Bomb - Unfortunately I am not kidding. It was 7.1 to 7.5 that was checked on three tanks. I would hate to see what it was if the roads were dry and I could have kept the hammer down.

I knew it was due for a tune up but wow!
