Re: what year?

I am going to guess '76. It should have low back bucket seats, and it looks like it has an exposed gas cap as opposed to a gas door. If the door panels are the early short style, then that really makes it a 76. The 6th digit of the VIN will tell you for sure, it's located on the drivers door jamb.

Re: what year?

Are you sure it's not a 78? Here are the clues I am looking at. It has the brushed aluminum dash insert, not a woodgrain design that would be found on 77 and earlier. Also, the headlight swich is chrome, not black like on a 77(Ken, am I correct on this). Also, it has the wide black plastic door handle with brushed aluminum trim like those on 77-80. And all 78's that I have (3) or have seen have the round fuel tank door. I can't remember what the 77 on door looks like on the inside, but I think it is like the one in the photo.

Re: what year?

1977 or 1978. The door panels have the lower panel clip holes and the seats are high back. The filler is exposed cap.

I agree it has to be '77 or '78 judging by the door panels. It also has the gas cap instead of the fuel filler door which started in 1979. ...joe
