Re: Anyone with Lexan Windows?

Joey, When we did the ones on my brothers race car we were able to rivet them right to the window channel. I know that on my dad's 52 that would be hard. I would try to work them into the stock window trim/rubber channel. Most race car pieces that I have seen though are appx 1/8 thick and I think the stock windows are probably 1/4 so you might have to build some thicker windows or build some sort of spacers. Good luck

Bernie

Re: Anyone with Lexan Windows?

They are great for race cars but get scratched and end up with a haze on them if you run them on the street for any length of time.
This is the same problem those of us with boats have with lexan windows.

I've had them in the truck for years but right now a person can't see through them due to the materials reaction to being in the sun and weather. Mine aren't mounted anywhere near correctly as they were an solution to a problem when they were installed.
