Re: My 65 Build
Pulled the block and the heads out today. Painted them up. Five coats of color and five coats of clear. Duplicolor engine enamel. As I was cleaning up late in the evening, summitclause showed up with the rest of my christmas present. Awesome!

Re: My 65 Build
Long time no post! Even forgot my login and password. That truck hasn't made much progress, however, I have a new build (not g pa's truck) that I am acquiring parts for. Soon will start a new build thread. It is a 66 short bed, full air ride, custom rear frame clip, lots of fun to come. Life got in my way for a while! A long while! This new build I will keep up on. Have almost all the parts and pieces already. Hope you guys will like it. I will title the new one AFC 66 Short Bed. Cheers!

I don't know how I've missed this tread. That's going to be a nice truck. I love the color.

Re: My 65 Build
Great looking progress on it. I too got mine from my Grandpa but luckily I didn't have to pay for it. Just the money to do what I'm doing now. Maybe I'll be able to find some more old pics of the truck from when he bought it much like yours.
