Dome Light
Searched the board and could not find anyhting on this ussue. I would like to have a dome light in my 86 custom deluxe, the light under the dash just does not cut it. Will the one for a headliner truck work or is there any other options to get some more light in the cab? If anyone else has modified another light or location would like to see some pics if possible.
Thanks |

Re: Dome Light
neither of my trucks had headliners and there was one in the center of the cab roofline behind the seat.. you should be able to find something to fit it

Re: Dome Light
My '87 has no headliner and no domelight up above, so I stuck a magnetic tool box light up there. I got it at Lowe's where the diamond plate alum. truck tool boxes are. It was $9.99, uses AAA batteries, has 5 L.E.D.s, and has both a magnet and a screw on mount. It's pretty bright. I put it up there last night with just the magnet, and drove 65 miles to work this morning without it coming off; so I probably won't screw it on.
