TH350 4x4 vs. TH350 2wd

Is there a difference in a TH350 4x4 and a TH350 2wd? I have a truck that came with a TH350 and need to look for a trans for it. Does the 4x4 version have a different output shaft than the 2wd version?

Yes, the 4x4 output shaft is shorter. There are some 350 cases that are stronger than others, although any Chev case (or BOP case w/adapter) can be used w/shorter 4x4 shaft.
