GM Parts Direct
Anybody ever use these guys?? I saw their link on another forum.
http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ They say their parts are GM, but they are significantly cheaper. |

Re: GM Parts Direct
Yes, they are an actual Chevy Dealer. *Most of the time their parts are cheaper*
What I normally do is call my local GM dealer and ask for a price on a part and if that price with tax is more than the GM Parts Direct price plus shipping, I'll order from GMPD. GMPD will hit you with a high shipping price, but you can see the total before you place the order and decide what you want to do.

Re: GM Parts Direct
I was going to use them for my Vortec MPFI upgrade, but after their shipping ($54) I got it from NAPA (Delphi stamped on the body) for $360. Saved aroud $40

Re: GM Parts Direct
Thanks guys.....I will probably order my charcoal/evaporative cannister for my '04 Suburban from them next week. I checked on the P/N for this from a Chevy dealer here in Phx. GM PartsDirect has it.
OEM Catalog Item Number MSRP Price 15746226 $167.48 $87.09 The MSRP is the price that the dealership here in Phx gave me. With shipping, it's about $104. If I was to get it here, it would be around $180-$185 after tax. |

Re: GM Parts Direct
When you get ready to order it, call them and see when it might ship. They say on their site somewhere that depending on stock, shipping times may be extended.
