Need auto linkage help....

Just put a turbo 400 in my truck.I was going to put a turbo 350 but got lucky{real lucky} and found a np205 to 400 adaptor at the boneyard. Anyways everything was going good till it came to the linkage.need to know if all 67-72 auto linkage is the same?{4wheel 2wheel} I was gonna take chance and buy a 2wheel drive setup{a guy has one locally} but would like to know for sure. thanks....
