rally wheel color

I`ve seen most in silver but alot on blakck. What color are they really suppost to be? I had silver ones years ago and always thought they looked best that way but lately I`ve been seeing some for sale that are blackand I kinda like that. It would be a good contrast to my white truck don`t you think? Anyone got pics of a white stepper with black rallys?

Re: rally wheel color

How about white to match the body color with chrome rings and center caps?

Re: rally wheel color

Thanks guys. i thought it was silver but I`ve seen so many black sets I wasn`t sure. I`ve seen them every color in the rainbow as well and don`t usually like color matched rallys but a friend had a 70 chevelle years ago that was white with black rallys and it had a nice look. I don`t know if the stepper can pull it off but visualizing it in my head I think it would look pretty good with black rallys with the white body.

Re: rally wheel color

Here's how I painted the ones on my 87. I liked the silver, but they constantly stayed covered with brake dust where the outer black ring is so thats why thats black, no more brake dust problems. The cap just looked cool with the flange black.
