swb all the way. lighter in the ass so it can smoke the tires with ease, hmm what else, where im from they are way more desirable, maybe because there is a million lwbs and id say a dozen swbs....and swbs can haul lots...how often do you have 12' sheetrock, get the guys at the yard to deliver it

wouldn't let me vote, but...
I have a SWB. I prefer them, to the LWB, but that's me. I've had both long and short, step and fleetsides. My nephew just bought a '67 LWB stepside, with less than 70K actual miles....one-owner. GM made less than 20,000 of them. My '69 SWB fleetside is one of about 55,000 made. There were over 230,000 LWB fleetsides made in '69.
