cruise control information

Does anyone have a wiring diagram and an assembilily diagram for a cruise control option. I believe the unit I have came off a 70-72 GMC. Any help would be great! Also-did these trucks have power windows-I guess I've turned into an options freak!

Re: cruise control information

Don't think this came out too good but here is the first page wiring diagram for the "Cruise Master" system (1969). There is another one which includes the vacuum lines, servo ,etc.

no power windows on these trucks
What kind of switch does your cruise control have, on the turn signal or under the dash?

Re: cruise control information

well-the donor truck only had the under the hood pieces. It was designed on the column. that was missing so I looked around on ebay after the LMC catalog had one for $180 ! I won the bid on one that looks close to what should be there out of a 70-72 chevelle. I figure if it's not correct, the money I paid for it would make it a good swapping part. I do need the vacuum switch and the electric switch that go to the pedal and the speedo cables. I know where another type cruise unit is and I believe it had the under the dash switch-I didn't get it because I thought it was an after-market thing-what year had the under the dash-this truck didn't have it listed on the spid but the one I got did. Thanks for your help
