OEM speaker

Wondering if you guys could help me with the size of a factory dash speaker. And if possible wondering if you could tell me or show me how it was mounted in the dash. Just got my Retro-Sound radio wanting to get some tunes going.

Re: OEM speaker

I can't find any pics when I replaced my original speaker with a new one from these guys. I believe theirs is the same size as the original. It's the 4" x 10" Delco Style Special Retangle. There are a few OEM bracket parts required for mounting, but I'm not sure how or if it would work with the Retro Sound radio. It is a Mono speaker and your new radio may require a stereo speaker. Did you inquire if they sold a speaker to fit in the original spot when you bought your radio?

It looks like their 4" x 10" Delco Style Stereo High Output at the bottom of the page might work if you have, or can find the original brackets.
