72 4x4 Vin ???

Some of you may know I have been looking for a 72 1/2 4x4.I have found one that I am interested in but have a question about the VIN.The VIN starts with TKE.I thought the 4x4's started with CKE?Does anyone have a factory 4x4 with TKE starting the VIN??

Thanks
Ray

GMC? Right? Chevys have CK for '72, GMCs have a T. In '72, the first C meant "Chevrolet", in GMCs the "T" meant "GMC".

That is the vin for a 72 GMC. GMC started with T and Chevy with a C in 1972. My 72 Sierra 4x4 starts with TKE
