How many of you are using.......

The front air deflector? I got to looking under my bumper and noticed that all the clips are still in place but the deflector was long gone before I got her. Now that I have restored her and in the process of dropping 2" rear and 4" in the front, would it drag everywhere? I think it would give me a "cleaner" look. Wheres the best price to buy? I saw them in the LMC for $39.99.
Anyone?

got mine from the local chevy dealership for around the same price or maybe a tadd cheaper?

shouldnt have any drag issues unless pulling into a very steep driveway or something. Mine is down in front 5.5 in. & only problem was when I WAS GETTING loaded into a roll back.

Re: How many of you are using.......

I run one on my truck and my son has one on his 86. They take the air out from under the truck and it DOES help on driveability and a little on gas mileage, since our trucks are lowered it helps to create a vacuum under the truck. The deflectors from LMC are good, I have purchased one there, but I usually get them from my local dealer---the price is about the same. However, I live in the area where LMC is at, so I can shop.

Mine used to hit some of the curbs when I pulled up to them but not since I put the 20's on and raised it an extra 1" to accomodate the BBC.

Mine is dropped 5" with short 225 tires, oly rubs if I pull up too close to a tall curb.

Re: How many of you are using.......

Add the stock size air dam. I tried the 4X4 air dam on my lowered truck. I noticed a huge air flow resistance at highway speeds. Top speed is limited. The small stock air dam works great.
