FACTORY air suspension from the 50's...
i remember reading a thread on here where someone had mentioned companies that offered air suspension from the factory as far back as the 50's (possibly earlier?)...anyone remember what post this is or can send me links to info on this?

there were some british cars with hydrolic suspentions factory. and i think some old lincolns had air

Chevrolet and Cadillac.... it was called "LevelAir" and was offered on the Impala's and the Caddy's starting in 58. There were also some stuff that was put together in the 30's and 40's however the level Air was probably the first offered in mass production.

All the older guys tell me how they would take their parent's car out on saturdays, let out all the air in the "LevelAir", and go cruise.

Citreons were an oddity, they had a plethora of different set ups from hydraulics over water to straight up accumulator hydraulic systems.
