Drum To Disc Brake Question

I HAVE A 68 GMC 2-WHEEL DRIVE THAT I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE TO DISC BRAKES. MAYBE ALL THE WAY AROUND. I THINK I HAVE SEEN THIS POSTED BEFORE. I WAS WONDERING WHAT YEARS TRUCKS I CAN TAKE THE PARTS OFF OF. AND WHAT ALL DO I NEED. I MIGHT DO SOME JUNK YARD HOPPING TOMORROW. ( is it worth the extra work) I AM DOING A FULL RESTORATION I AM ABOUT 2 YEARS INTO IT. I HAVE THE FRONT END IN PIECES RIGHT NOW. NO IM SORRY THE WHOLE THING IS IN PIECES. I WILL TAKE ANY INPUT YOU HAVE I AM NOT A BRAKE MAN.

Use the search function on the top of the page for disc brake conversions.
We discuss this topic regularly!!

I will be doing this myself soon.

I have a 71 2wd with disc front end in the barn. Don't really know the condition. Has been sitting for 11 years. Will look it over this week and let you know if interested. Forgot all about it.
