Patch panel
Does anyone make a patch panel for the core support? I need to replace the bottom corner, under the battery box,and it would be much easier with a patch than trying to fabricate myself. Thanks for any info on this.

Re: Patch panel
I know they make the patch.I assume most of the BB members would carry it.I have seen one but don't know where it came from.I suggest you measure the peice you need to be sure it will cover the area you need to patch.
Anyways here's a TTT

Re: Patch panel
I bought an aftermarket core support, but when I had problems getting the battery tray to line up properly,I couldn't imagine what a nightmare the rest of the assembly was going to be like.I believe I'll be way better off with the original core support.

Re: Patch panel
I don't believe I've seen a patch panel for the radiator support but, I'd be interested to see if anyone knows where to get one. Mine is pitted pretty bad in the same area.
I bought one from the dealer for my '69 about 18 years ago and even then, I still had to make the battery tray fit. |

I talked to them on the phone as it is a new part and not listed on the website yet.It measures 16"X3"X2 1/2" I think it will be perfect for my application. |
