Phase 1
Alright folks, I dropped my GMC off at the custom shop today to complete phase 1 of the mods. I am so stoked, I've been working 7 days a week 12 hr shifts down near Austin on a shutdown for 107 days now (1 week and were done). I've been buying parts as I go (all ECE) and decided this would be the first thing accomplished on my truck.
1. 2.5" drop spindles 2. 1" drop springs 3. 1-1/4" sway bar 4. 4" drop rear springs 5. 1' drop shackles 6. Replace anything worn i.e., brakes, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. 7. Repack wheel bearings 8. Replace shocks I will end up with a 3.5/5 drop and all new springs. YEAH!!! The owner of the shop is a great guy and awesome customizer, he had a write-up in Sport Truck Magazine on a Dodge he bagged and painted. I told him he has a week to complete it and believe me it will be a nice homecoming. ![]()
