Re: dually burb project in Va
How about bringing the burb when it's finished? I had my blazer in it this month. The cruise in is once a month so you have some time to get it fixed...

Re: dually burb project in Va
dropped front (pulled spring and bump stops)
about 2" to fender well rub at full lock on steering still going to add 3" djm spindles rear back on stands added 3" blocks trimming fender wells and dually flares where it rubs found this while trimming today #4 rebar wrapped in bondo and paint stirs will be back on wheels tomorrow for more measuring and a pic or 2 I flipped my rear with new perchs so when I get ride height close I'll set pinion angle than hopefully next week I can pull in back up the driveway LOL

Re: dually burb project in Va
back on ground with 3" blocks and centered wheels in well moved axle back 1.5" only got 1.75" drop from the block cause axle is out of the lowest part of arch now front thinking of cut the plate on the front control arms that held the bump stops should get 1.5" drop with 1" bump stop to rest on when aired out but it has the steering stops on it any thoughts? next week going to remove inner fender wells and start relocating stuff when finall drop is set will redo wells then will order spindles next month along with front bushing kit

Re: dually burb project in Va
that what I was thinking cause most drop arms I didn't see any
biggest issue I've had to deal with is that the frame is off set 1" to passenger side would guess for spare tire location so going to cut brackets off and set bumpstops in place this weekend this will level it out for now but will rub fender well in front tvblazer78 what is you front setup?? any pic's up and down with out wheel for reference thanks

Re: dually burb project in Va
what would be the issue if you cut 2" out of the lower cup besides droping in a 1" when aired out
until I get my spindles on and cycle my suspension then see what hits going to notch the frame rails now before they get in the way think I'm going to lower the toy now just for fun gotta love torsion bars and axle over rears

The thing that you have to look out for is if you cut to much you may have a bag hitting something on the A arm.. So do some test fits first..

Re: dually burb project in Va
also going to cut out rear flooor and notch frame 2.5-5"s what ever is need to bottom out flare in rear
cause when I notch it I have no place for exhaust, fuel line or ac line I guess next week or 2 will be mostly tear down and removing every unwanted piece on burb (*(*( phrase of the day )*)*) the lower i get the more I have to cut out to get there
