Question About New Fuel System
So I am redoing the fuel system to accommodate the new motor and FCG tank, and have some questions. I will be using Aeroquip start-lite hose, or something similar. When I make the connections to the fuel pump, and filter, does each piece have to be made specifically? I can't cut and attach my own hose ends can I? And what should I run as far a filters? I plan on a 40 micron after the pump, I hear some guys say that will be fine, and others suggest a filter before the pump too. And last question, when I reach the engine bay, I plan on having a Billet fuel log to feed the double pumper, should I mount it facing forwards, and have the fuel line go all the way up to the front of the motor and up to the top? Or can I run it up the back of the motor somehow. I just don't know if it would interfere with the headers, or other sharp objects. Thanks for your help.

Re: Question About New Fuel System
summit jegs speedway motors sell coils of hose(i like the russel stuff) and a variety of ends to make your own fuel lines // not difficult if you take your time and pay attention to details
i'm not really sure what the aeroquipt stuff is that you referance//i've always liked the woven black hose and used with excellent results a number of times

Re: Question About New Fuel System
The Aeroquip is just woven black hose, but its not steel, its some sort of nylon, so it's lighter weight. The local shops carry it so I will use it. I like the look of the black better than the silver hose with blue/red ends
