Any nice trucks near Denver? Bride-to-be looking to rent truck for wedding.

Came across this posting on the Denver area craigslist. Pretty cool of her to surprise her fiance/hubby like this. I hope she finds one.

Sounds OK, but a better surprise would be for her to buy her fiance a truck.

It sounds to me like a very well thought out scam. Fake ID and information, and on the "wedding day" the truck is gone forever.

Why up to a '73? There is a big difference.

SORRY ! I wouldn't do it because I don't take my truck and park it close to rice throwers, or any group or gathering that has people there that do not respect the hard work that goes into keeping our trucks looking good ..

I think she means well ,but she will be busy and so will he ,,so who's to watch the truck at all times.. I doubt it's a car theft thing ,,I see these ads all the time and wonder just how many brides and grooms acually get to get some one to donate a rare truck .

.. It's mainly that no matter how much she says she knows how we feel ,,she just couldn't.. until she builds one up herself.. makes me sound like a grouch I know .. I did say Sorry .. Larry

I have done that three times with my '57 Ford Retractable Hardtop, with no problems. The reason is because I require that I drive it and they ride. That way I can stay outside with the car while the wedding is taking place..
