68 Bucket Seats

One of my dads friends was telling me the other day that he knows a guy that is selling a set of black 68 bucket seats with a center console. He didn't know the price and said he would find out for me. But my question is, what are a set of 68 buckets with center console worth? I would hate to get them and then find out that I overpaid for them. Also, is the center console the same length as the bucket seats or even a bench seat for these trucks? Like is the distance from the back of the cab to the dash the same?

To the mods, I am a little unclear on the rules for non site supporters posting a topic about the price of something. If this post goes against the rules, I am sorry and by all means take it down.

Re: 68 Bucket Seats

They can be worth $300-$1000. It depends on what shape they are in.

As long as you are buying you can post a "What's it worth". If you own the item you can not post a "What's it worth".

Thanks LocDoc, that is what I was confused about. I knew that there was something regarding WIW threads, I just couldn't remember.

Re: 68 Bucket Seats

If they are buddy buckets like the pictured one then between $300 to $1000, $300 in need of a rebuild and redover
If they are just bucket seats with a center console then it depends:
$200 and up, with a clean console not torn up or cracked $350 (with the correct seat brackets and not rusted)

Re: 68 Bucket Seats

I am not sure if they are buddy buckets or not, all I know is it is a factory set of bucket seats and center console. But judging by that pic, they most likely would not work in my truck do to the location of my shifter.
