Re: starting help
My inline filter does not actually look full either when it is running. Had your truck sat a long time, or only a day or so? If it is recently run, then takes that long to fire, try adding a bit of fuel directly down the carb. If it starts right away, your fuel pump may be bad.

Re: starting help
Could be a long list from bad gas to a carb problem.

Re: starting help
Before you start the truck, take off the air cleaner so you can look down the carb. While looking in the carb pump the gas and see if you can see any fuel squirting out (you may have to hold the choke plate open). If yes, the choke may be misadjusted. If no (sounds like it) either the accelerator pump is faulty or the fuel bowl in the carb is empty. If the fuel bowl is empty, the diaphram in the fuel pump may be bad, letting the fuel flow back to the tank and sucking the carb dry in the process. if the diaphram is bad you need a whole new fuel pump. Or it may be a leak somewhere, again letting the fuel go back and sucking the carb dry.
