At some point, I'm going to need to rebuild or replace the motor on my '93 5.7GMC K-1500 Stepside.



I'm interested in the Vortec motor that replaced your 350. Was there a noticeable performance improvement? Did the fuel economy suffer? Any and all details would be appreciated.
