Does anyone know what size carriage bolts I need for the bed strips in a '67 with a wood bed?

Well Kyull, If it we weren't getting a blizzard right now I would go out and measure mine for you. I'd probably never find my way back to the house..

.. I'm thinking 5/16" x 1 1/4" but don't buy any until someone verifies it...

The very front bolt near the front bed panel is 5/16-18 x 1-1/2" carriage. All other bolts in the long strips are 1/4-20 x 1-1/4". The short strips in front and back of the wheel house have a mixture of these two sizes. The front one has 5/16 on each end. The rear short strip has 5/16 on the wheel house end only.

I read your question again and realized that you did not mention it was a fleetside or step bed. The advice posted was for a fleet. If it is a stepper, Then the front bolt is 5/16 and the rest are 1/4". The angle strips on a stepper are 5/16 as well.
