Man that sounds like fun wish I could be there. Let me know if you find some buddy buckets and 67-68 steering wheels or a small letter GMC gate. Looking forward to pics.

Re: A few members and I might be making a road trip Sat

I'm ready, should be a good trip! Eric, I'll bet the ice is thick up there, probably lots of good ice fishing. I flew in to Minneapolis once in the winter and remember seeing a bunch of little ice houses out the window as we were coming in, it was pretty cool and was the highlight of my trip.

You guys should have a blast even if you don't come home with anything. As for the ice houses... Its dang near too cold to even do that! I already have a 16" extension on my auger. (goes with the 3 footer in case the southern guys are reading this.) GOOD LUCK. It must be a "go" at this point?

Re: A few members and I might be making a road trip Sat

Its a go, meeting Randy at 7:00. I tried ice fishing down here once back in the 80's when Glenn Elder reservoir froze over. Never caught anything but a cold but I did learn something, no matter how good you think your boots are bring something to stand on. your feet get cold standing on ice for 2 hours.
