New Here with an 87 Shorty

I have been lurking for a while, and figured I would start a thread... I'm new to this year of Chev, but not new to cars... other chevys I have owned have been: 76 Nova, 59 Apache, 69 Nova, 68 Camaro, 64 Chevelle...

So I got this 87 Scottsdale for 1300 off of craigslist.. its a little rough, but I am fortunate to have an 89 burb as a parts donor.. So for right now my plans are to swap over the power doors from the burb, along with the straight fenders, some engine components and possibly the front clip.. not sure which grill I really want though at this point..

As of right now all I have done is thrown in a steering wheel from the burb and some seatbelts.. nothing more yet, as it is really cold out and my motivation really lacks in this weather...

Looks like a good start. I wish i had found a 87 for the tbi but I`ll be looking for a donar truck for my swap. I like that steering wheel too.
