starting a build thread {PROJECT RARE STAKE}
started back on project nightmare,took the bed off saw how bad it was and decided to turn it into a stake bed flat bed.came the name change {PROJECT RARE STAKE}well here are the pics,the bolt pics are what were holding the bed on.bed is worse than it looks,most of it is bondo

this is where i'm at so far.i'm stumped on what color to paint the bed,any ideas.the front rims dont hold air,that why their flat.

I agree with Johnnyreb, just use a varnish sealer to give it that natural wood color.

What color are you going to paint the truck?
If your going with a light color I'd sand it down and seal it as is. If you going with a dark color (red, black, etc) I'd do a cherry stain with sealer. Looks good ![]()
