Proportioning Valve and brake lines
Is the proportioning valve for drum brakes prior to 1971 all the same? Also I have a 1970 3/4 ton 4x4 with power brakes and does the brake lines from the valve down run inside or outside of the frame? If you have pictures that would be great.

Re: Proportioning Valve and brake lines
Can't help you on the valve.
But the brake line to the rear brakes runs down the inside of the right frame rail.

Re: Proportioning Valve and brake lines
Thanks for the info. I need to really know where the ones from the p-valve. I think one goes one the outside and one on the inside.

Re: Proportioning Valve and brake lines
They drop down to the rear of the front cross member.
