No power steering?

Those are illegal in this state.

Re: check out what i got in the mail

I rocked the hillbilly power-steering, as well. Until it caught my shorts and almost caused me to hit a tree. Sure looked cool, though.

Re: check out what i got in the mail

I thought they went and made those illegal. Seriously. The only places I've seen those things in the last 20 years has been in tractor/forklift type stores.

They were pretty popular with the jeepin' crowd. Those things could make or break a race when it came to how fast you turn those mudders from lock to lock...

Guess you had to be there to see it. I'm a big dide with little bird legs. From aprox. late Jan. till mid Nov. I wear fairly baggy (no, I'm not THAT guy) cargo shorts, cause they're comfy. Combine that with a big steering wheel, a big thick seat, and a big suicide knob that I found in the ol man's shop that was probably off a tractor, and hilarity ensues.

I took it off after my first outing, and has been retired.

I'm married now, I don't steer with a knob anymore.

Re: check out what i got in the mail

All I see is a red X... But, guessing from the comments, it's a steering wheel knob.
I heard those were illegal in this state too, when people were getting into accidents, they would hit the steering wheel, the knob would go into their ribs/chest breaking ribs and puncturing the heart and/or lungs....
besides all those other problems that was just mentioned...

Re: check out what i got in the mail

So you take it off until you are going off road, then put it back on?
"Trucker Knobs" are also illegal in MN. I sure would hate to get pulled over for having that, only for the cop to find out you don't have a drivers licence.
