Reproduction 8 lug wheels
Does anybody know where to get 1950's style reproduction rims?

Re: Reproduction 8 lug wheels
I doubt seriously if there is enough market for anyone to want to invest in producing them. If you mean split rims, most tire stores won't mount tires on them any more. Les Schwab tires here in the west will quit doing them entirely pretty soon because of the safety issues.

Well can I get smooth round center caps for 73-87 chevrolet 3/4 ton truck wheels to make them look vintage?

Don't know about that. I'm guessing yes?? There are tons of caps and cap vendors.

Re: Reproduction 8 lug wheels
You might find a wheel shop that will put your early centers in later non split rims so that you can run the early style caps. You could also change rim size and width at the same time if you wanted to.

http://www.speedprint.com/deves50/hubcapclips.php Theres some information on the Stovebolt Forum about people buying brand new trailer type wheels, installing clips available from the vendors, and they looks really close to stock.
