Questions on installing a 4l60e tranny in my 68 Chevy Truck????
A friend is selling me a 4l60e tranny that is complete out of a 2003 GMC Sierra.
What would I need to make it work in my 68 Chevy truck with 350 engine? Since my truck does not have all the electronics and computer. Do I have to buy a certain harness? Thanks

I believe you need a stand alone computer for the tranny. Not cheap. I think I have seen them price in the $500 range.
That's the drawbacks of the electronic trannys if you are not using them with the stock engine and computer.

you should probably sell it, and get a 700R4 or 200 4R... the 4l60 isn't much better than a 700, and costs a LOT more to hook up.
