frame ID
lookin to see if the numbers i pulled off my frame truck will help me identify what year chassis i have?? Found them stamped on the frame beneath drivers seat, any help???
Top number read 2 019 481 bottom number 14040627

Maine. I am pretty sure the lower # is a part number. The upper number is probably the one you want and part of that number should contain part of the cab serial number. Mine is an 84 and if I am not mistaken, mine is on the right frame rail roughly below the seat. Some of the guys have said they found numbers someplace near the steering box. I do know GM moved them all around to keep thieves guessing. Now I do believe they are in multiple locations on all parts. jim

1984 K20 350M engine with 465,000 miles. Well, it's finally done!! Almost 2 years of work, but it was really worth the effort. Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!!
