ash tray colors and ac vent colors

on my 71 super the body color is hugger orange and white . the ash tray and vents are white but under the white is orange ,the white paint job is sub par.
i'm wondering if these were orignally orange and someone painted these or were these factory,I have seen several trucks with this color combo so i think it is orignal but wondering if the assembly line pulled these parts and did a repaint

I've neverr seen a stock ashtray any color other than dash color.
Some A/C vents were dashpad color, but no dash pads were white...
Yours were probably sprayed by a previouse owner.
