k20 or c20
hey, i have a 1979 chevy pick up. its a custom deluxe 20. i was trying to figure out if its a c20 or a k20? i have posted on here b4 with pics of it so idk if you can find my other post for the pics but its there if you want 2 lookk for it. any help would be great thanks.

K20. C20 would designate 2 wheel drive.

ah. so your telling me a c 10 or a c20 truck are 2 wheel drive trucks and k10 or k20 trucks are 4 wheel drive. ok mine is a 4x4. next thought. i think everything is original on the truck. would you have any idea what axles it has under it? dana 44?

The front axle could be a Dana 44 or a 10 bolt. '79 was a transition year. The rear is a 14 bolt, either a 9 1/2" semi-floater, or a 10 1/2" full-floater.
