60-66 Bench Seat Pictures

I have a friend of mine who does Upholstery and said he would hook me up on my seat. The seat in my truck looks to be out of a newer model truck and I don't think that it's the right, how do I say it ....pattern....I was wondering if you guys could post pictures of your bench seats and let me know if yours is close to the original pattern or something you came up with. I really like the way corts60 seat looks.

Thanks for your help on this.

here's mine..

The only ones of those that look really stock to me would be the September 29 version with a standard seat, and the pair of June 28 pictures with the custom seat. I don't think the others are an original pattern.

Re: 60-66 Bench Seat Pictures

I've heard of them but I have not riden with them. We get some Combat vets, b.a.c.a., downed bikers from time to time but usualy it's just people from o.u. I think the Patriot Gaurd are the ones that told those freeks from Ks that were comeing down here picketing solders funerals to keep there a$$es in Ks. Those people don't come down here no more. So now that I jacked up your thread. How about those seats.

thanks,
If I had it to do over, I would have picked a blanket that didn't have the gay pride flag in the middle I didn't notice that part in the evil-bay picture.

Re: 60-66 Bench Seat Pictures

Here are a few pictures of the factory bench seat I had reupholstered recently for my '66 Chevy K10 lwb fleetside (BCKNBLK). Also, a few pictures of a factory bench seat with what appears to be a factory cover.

Re: 60-66 Bench Seat Pictures

That is factory original bench seat upholstery and I am not sure if any supplier sells them, but you might check with:

www.brothers.com
www.lmctruck.com

and hopefully someone will chime in with some other potential sources.

Re: 60-66 Bench Seat Pictures

4dranch,

Here is my 65 seat. I got leather on evilbay, surplus from the North Carolina furniture factories. The pattern follows the original basic design of the cloth upholstry from the factory. So there is some connection back to the original look.

Bowties seat is along the same lines as what I was thinking. But not as gay. I would have picked out a cooler one. j/k All the other pics are on the old computer but here is this one. You should reconize it. It's just upolstry frabric she had. Nothing fancy but it's held up good. I am gona do the blanket thing though.
