work today
This post really got me motivated i pulled off all my chrome off the front the shot a coat of primer to match the rest of the truck today turned out pretty good hardly no wind today all i have left to do is the interior and get my shave door kit to pop my doors put in the winshield and back glass and im cruisen this summer in primer of course next year is paintjob...here a few progress picts to get you boys motivated....keep the replys comin ive done 2 days worth of work...Steve

To damn cold to work on the truck right now. With the windchill factor, it was below -35 all weekend

I worked on mine a little bit today, tore into the diff, it looks pretty grim in there. The pinion shaft moves around about 1/4", I guess I'm looking at a major repair pretty quick. Oh well, at least I finally know what gear ratio I have. (4.57)

Hey 68_c10_on20s where did you get that tailgate and how much was it? Also what kind of rims are you using. BTW your trucks looking sweet even if it is primer!!

Put on a exterior door handle today. Still waiting for a buddy to give me my "free" rebuilt carb. Been about 2 1/2 months now.

-11 F this morning. Weather man is talking 50s by Friday. Of course this cold snap is when my Escort head gasket decided to take a digger. As predicted the weather is warming up because I'm almost done with the head gasket job. Once it gets warmer I'm going to paint the hood and tailgate da-burb sold me last fall.
