Re: Suburban rear door

I looked at the door today and there is a little bit of rust on the inside bottom edge and a small dent about in the middle right.

Re: Suburban rear door

Thanks for looking, is it surface rust, or rust through ? Also do you know hard or how much, and would you be willing to ship to K.C. MO. (64118) ? If not my Girlfriend is from Marin County and we are planning on making our way there soon, I believe that you are fairly close?

Re: Suburban rear door

I will get some pictures tomorrow of the bottom of the door and the small dent. I would rather you look at the door when you come to Marin and you decide to buy or not. I can hold it for you within reason. I am not that far from Marin.

Re: Suburban rear door

I cleaned up the area with a wire brush to show the area better.

Re: Suburban rear door

If you dont end up selling the door I would be interested in the handle and all the internal mechanisms ... latch, rods, etc etc

Re: Suburban rear door

Damn, I wish it were brand new in the box for $100 , LOL !!! It is still much better than what I have ( more rust and 1/4inch of Bondo right in the middle) looks like it is well worth what you are asking...If you can hold it until April or May at the latest, I can go ahead and pay you for it now ? I would also be willing to pay to ship if it is not to expensive and you are willing?

Re: Suburban rear door

I can hold it for you, no problem. I think I have had the door for about a year already and it don't eat so I am good.
