Lowering by removing spring leafs: which leafs to take off?
Hey guys,
Bought myself a 79 C10 with 350ci. Stock. Working on the interior now. New wheels and tires will come soon. I want to lower the rear a bit and make it a little softer. I was thinking about removing one or two spring leafs. But which leafs do I remove? |

How many leaves in the pack? Usually the short lower leaves, but it depends on the pack too,

Alot of people remove the thick helper leaf, but some say that you will get some sag after awhile.

an easier way to do the drop is to put the leaf springs under the dif. this way you don't need to modify or risk the integrity of the springs.
