Need help identifying connector / plug

I need some help identifying this plug.
It's on a brown wire which goes into a protection tube with a lot of other wires. It's between the rear of the engine (driver side) and the firewall.
The brown wire seems to go through the firewall into the cabine.

On the plug the number 10 is printed.

Check the brake circuit. I think it may go to the service brake light from the brake system under the master cylinder. What year is your truck? I'm on my way out to the pole barn I'll look at my 82 manual wire diagram and I'll let you know.

Do you have an oil pressure gauge/light? Is it working? I can't quite see the top of mine it is burried down behind the air cleaner and the distributor. The oil inside the boot might be a clue. I looked at my 85 305 and cannot see where it might go but a 79 is older enough that they may have made many changes. I'll look the manual over for other possible suggestions. Good Luck!
