S-10 seat

the bench seat is killing my back. I was looking for a later model seat with headrests but then I started thinking about mid to late 80's s 10 seats. I have seen and read here about seat but would like to get more ideas. Also My trucks black on the inside and I like cloth type covers.

Re: S-10 seat

I've never seen anyone put one of those in their truck - it seems like it wouldn't be wide enough. A lot of guys put a '90's truck bench seat in and they work pretty well - I have a '90 in my '70 and it's quite comfortable.

Re: S-10 seat

The S-10 seats are several inches too narrow. People usually prefer not to run the high back seats as they are considered to be rather tacky in early model trucks by the majority of us.

I run an 88 full size Chev pickup bench seat in the 71. It fits great but could a bit more comfortable on my back. It is out of a plane Jane 4x4 pickup though. I think some of the more deluxe seats may be more comfortable but I would look for one out of a standard cab truck.
