I got lucky too. But wanted to warn you. I believe a 70 hood bowtie n 69 mount pins are slightly different.

NOS partner. I can and have found 71/72 grille emblems. It's the NOS 69/70 hood emblem that is the elusive (at least eluding me) bowtie.

Re: WTB NOS 69/70 Hood Emblem

I checked the invoice on mine and I paid $70.00 plus shipping in 2004. I haven't seen one on ebay since then. You could check online, there are a few NOS parts stores out there, like this site: http://www.automobilearchives.com. You gotta stay on the prowl!

Hey, 69Bob - I don't think we are discussing a junk yard deal! But, its good to have a few spares laying around.

Talking Re: WTB NOS 69/70 Hood Emblem

Well, thanks to 1970cstblazer I found my NOS hood emblem. With his keen eye on Craigslist, and at a whopper of a deal at $15.00, I got a gorgeous NOS hood emblem part #3953661 in the box. At first it seemed too good to be true...until I got it in the mail today. Thanks again, 1970cstblazer!

Lightbulb Re: WTB NOS 69/70 Hood Emblem

I will look around for another one. The chances to find one so inexpensive are not good though.
