Brake booster question
My truck has disc in front and drum in rear, but no booster.
Can I just buy a booster for this year truck at NAPA or somewhere and bolt it on behind my master cylinder, and hookup a vacuum line to it, and have power brakes? Is it that easy? |

Re: Brake booster question
Yes and no.You can do that but you will need the brackets and also the booster to pedal rod is different.Check the FAQ's index for better info so you can be sure you are getting the "Right Stuff"They are fairly common so someone should have a set of the brackets. You can look in the parts board and see.Or better yet become a supporter and post a want-to-buy.
Since you are in Tn. you might contact Tim Christian(a BB vendor) and ask if he has a set.
