LMC Inner Rocker Question

Is the outer floor section the inner rocker and the inner rocker like a slip on type deal in lmc's catalogue?

Thanks Pat

Re: LMC Inner Rocker Question

the outer floor piece has the inner rocker already attached.. you fit the outer rocker over it and mount it the outer rocker has a slot that the outer floor /inner rocker fits into.... check out my build thread.... i used the outer floor on both sides

Re: LMC Inner Rocker Question

those are not slip on pieces. you have to cut out the bad and weld in the new pieces

Re: LMC Inner Rocker Question

slip on stuff is just like a band aid it just covers the rust.. the rust is still there and i know it will come back to you in the long run and haunt you.. i would take time and $ and get the ones u cut out and replace..just my .02cents

Re: LMC Inner Rocker Question

i know what slip ons are. i guess i should be more clear. the inner rocker and outer floor look different. i know the outer floor has more to it but it dosent have the holes like the innner rocker, and theirs some other stuff in the pic. so thats why im a little confused.

thanks

Re: LMC Inner Rocker Question

oh i see what your saying... ya those holes i think are for those slip on stuff since like the slip on floor support bolts to the inner rocker.. or at least the one i took off on my truck did.. im going to weld up the holes anyways.. less chance of water to get trapped and rust... i hate rust.. but yea thats what i think the holes are there for.. the outer floor piece is the way i would go..it doenst have to look good at the welds either because it will be covered up by carpet
